POLICIES for The McLaughlin Block Gore Bay Apartment Hotel

 

A one night deposit plus HST may be requested. A Reservation must include contact information for the Registered Guest, such as the Guest's cell number and the Guest's email address so Guest can be contacted, while on site. The deposit may be charged at the time of reserving and can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit or Cash. Any deposit will be refunded with at least 72 hours notice prior to the arrival date with the exception of special occasions with long-term reservations like hunting season, weddings, lace camp and others where there is high demand. Check in is 4:00 p.m. and Check out is 11:00 a.m.  Usually, we cannot extend Check out time as we only have five Suites. There are no housekeeping or laundry services during a stay of five nights or less. Parking is provided for one vehicle in a numbered space. Some extra parking is available. All Apartments and hallways are non-smoking including the smoking and vaping of cannabis (a $150 indisputable charge will be made if smoking or vaping occurs on the premises). Any damage or loss will be assessed extra charges based on replacement costs, labour and loss of business. The credit card owner, on file, will be held responsible. Very sorry but pets are not permitted.  It is expected that dishes are washed before departure. Guests should wash dishes, utensils, etc. before use. The barbecue needs to be cleaned after each use. Emergency exits are to be used only in the case of such. A one bedroom Unit is best suited for two guests sharing a queen bed. A two bedroom Unit is best suited for four people sharing two queen beds. A three bedroom Unit is limited to eight people sharing four beds. A four bedroom Unit is limited to eight people sharing four beds.


OVERNIGHT RATES for The McLaughlin Block Gore Bay Apartment Hotel

 

A McLaughlin Block one bedroom suite, with one queen bed, is $125.00 per night.  A McLaughlin Block two bedroom suite with, two queen beds, is $145.00 per night.  A McLaughlin Block three bedroom suite, with three double beds and one queen bed  is $185.00 per night.  A McLaughlin Block four bedroom suite, with three double beds and one queen bed, is $200.00 per night.  The four bedroom has four private spaces while the three bedroom has three private spaces. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, just like home, plus dining and living room facilities. SELF CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

 

Apartment #1 is on the second floor and is accessed at the rear of our building from Phipps Street via the outside stairs to the first landing. It has its own outside entrance door which will be unlocked with keys inside. Upon departure, leave the keys inside with the door unlocked. Enter our Parking Lot on the Legion side of the rope barrier to locate the #1 parking spot. Apartment #2  is on the second floor and is accessed from the front north side of our building from Meredith Street via the inside stairs.  The door will be unlocked with keys inside.  Upon departure, leave the keys inside with the door unlocked..  Enter our Parking Lot on the Legion side of the rope barrier to locate #2 parking spot or you may park beside our Real Estate Office on the north side if space available.    Apartments #3, #4, #5  are on the third  floor and are accessed at the rear of our building from Phipps Street via the outside stairs.  The doors will be unlocked with keys inside.  Upon departure, leave the keys inside with the doors unlocked. Enter our Parking Lot on the LCBO side of the rope barrier to locate the #3, #4, #5 parking spots.  Often, there is no one in the Office, so it is very important to remember your Apartment Number. If in doubt, call Hugh's Cell  705 282 7705. Do not assume it is your Suite just because the door is unlocked.  It may be for another Guest who requires that particular Unit.
