$150.oo per night - One bedroom unit (with one queen bed); $180.00 per night - Two bedroom unit (with two queen beds);
$225.00 per night - Three bedroom unit #2 (with one queen & three double beds with three private spaces of two bedrooms & the living room); $240.00 per night - Four bedroom unit #1 (with one queen bed & three double beds with four private spaces of three bedrooms & the living room). Apartments #1 and #5, each, have an extra twin bed. If used it is $25 per night plus tax.
The two bedroom Suites can be rented as one bedroom. The Suites with four beds can be rented as two and one bed Apartments. As a three bedroom Suite, #1 is $240 per night and #2 is $225 per night. There is free reserved parking, free access to a propane barbecue and free high speed internet. The barbecue for the third floor is on the third floor balcony. The barbecue for #2 is on the front patio next to Meredith Street. The barbecue for #1 is at the rear on the ground. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, just like home, plus dining and living room facilities. Each is also supplied with all your bedding, towels and cleaning supplies. SELF CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Apartment #1 is on the second floor and is accessed at the rear of our Building from Phipps Street via the outstairs to the first landing. It has its own outside entrance door which will be open with keys inside. Upon departure, leave the keys inside and the door unlocked. Enter our Parking Lot on the Legion side of the rope barrier to locate the #1 parking spot.
Apartment #2 is on the second floor and is accessed from the front north side of our Building from Meredith Street via the paved alley and the inside stairs. The door will be open with keys inside. Upon departure, leave the keys inside with door unlocked. Enter our Parking Lot on the Legion side of the rope barrier to locate the #2 parking spot. You may, also, park beside our Real Estate Office on the north side if space is available.
Apartments #3, #4, #5 are on the third floor and are accessed at the rear of our Building from Phipps Street via the outside stairs. The doors will be open with keys inside. Upon departure, leave the keys inside with the doors unlocked. Enter our Parking Lot on the LCBO side of the rope barrier to locate the #3, #4, #5 parking spots.
Often, there is no one in the Office, so it is very important to remember your Apartment Number. Do not assume it is your Suite just because the door is unlocked. It may be for another Guest who requires that particular Unit.
If necessary, visit our Office at the front of our Building. If no one present, call or text Hugh McLaughlin on his Cell 705 282 7705. If no response, call or text Cole McLaughlin on his Cell 705 282 4248. Hopefully Hugh or Cole will be able to come to the Office to give you your Apartment Number.
A one night deposit plus HST may be requested to reserve an apartment. A Reservation must include contact information for the Registered Guest, such as the Guest’s cell number and the Guest’s email address so Guest can be contacted while on site. Any reservation deposit will be refunded with at least 72 hours notice prior to the arrival date with the exception of special occasions with long-term reservations like hunting season, weddings, lace camp and others where there is high demand.
Official check in is 4:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m. It is important to check out at 11:00 as we only have five Suites for arriving Guests. Usually one can check in by 1:00 p.m.
There are no housekeeping or laundry services during a stay of five nights or less.
Very sorry but pets are not permitted. Just as you cross Ice Lake on Highway 540, there is a Pet Boarding House at 89 Emery Road called Friends Fur Ever. Call 705 692 3647. Website www.Friendsfur-ever.ca
Parking is provided for one vehicle in a numbered space. Others are available upon request.
All apartments and hallways are NON SMOKING INCLUDING THE SMOKING AND VAPING OF CANNABIS. An indisputable charge of $200 will be made if smoking or vaping occurs on the premises. Any damage or loss will be assessed extra charges based on replacement costs, labour and loss of business. The credit card owner, on file, will be held responsible.
DISHES ARE EXPECTED TO BE WASHED BEFORE DEPARTURE. GUESTS SHOULD WASH DISHES, UTENSILS, ETC. BEFORE USING. The barbecue needs to be cleaned after each use.
Emergency exits are to be used only in the case of such.
A one bedroom unit is best suited for two guests sharing a queen bed. A two bedroom unit is best suited for four people sharing two queen beds. A three bedroom unit is limited to eight people sharing four beds. A four bedroom unit is limited to eight people sharing four beds. Currently Apartments #1 and #5, each have an extra twin bed, so each can accommodate one more person.
Upon arrival, Guests will find their apartment open with the key inside so they are able to check, themselves, in at any time as per above. The office is not always open including on weekends. It is important to remember your Apartment number.
CORONA VIRUS STATEMENT
Being the Principal Guest at the Gore Bay Manitoulin Hotel and based on my personal awareness and belief, I hereby state that I and anyone staying with me in an apartment of the Gore Bay Manitoulin Hotel:
(1) Does not currently have any symptoms associated with Covid 19
(2) Has not been exposed to anyone with symptoms associated with Covid 19 within the last 10 days
I consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the foregoing information solely for the purpose of:
(1) determining whether to permit me to rent an apartment from the Gore Bay Manitoulin Hotel
(2) informing me about any, known, coronavirus-related developments in connection with the apartment that I wish to rent.
I understand that:
(1) any affirmative answer may result in my inability to rent an apartment
(2) this information will not be disclosed to anyone, unless with my consent or as permitted or required by law
(3) Gore Bay Manitoulin Hotel may contact me for the purpose of informing me in the event any person renting an apartment is determined to have been exposed to Covid 19
(4) if I am diagnosed with Covid 19 within 10 days of my vacating the apartment, I shall, immediately, contact the Gore Bay Manitoulin Hotel to advise them of such diagnosis
